Since the early '90s, the Belgian duo Silk Saw has pioneerednearly unclassifiable electronic music at the forefrontof experimental and avant-garde. Their 12th album is a contiguous expansion of the universe created in 'Imaginary Landscapes', the previous album published on Kotä in 2015, blending sweet and bitter in languorous and enigmatic melodies that float on intriguing pounding polyrhythms. With the release of 'Nothing is Finished' (LP title 'Everything Starts') on Sub Rosa, Marc Medea and Gabriel Séverin are back home, since their very first trial, 'Musique Du Garrot Et De La Feraille' -under their strange 'modern dada' alias, Jardin d'Usure - wasreleased in 1994 (followed by the first two Silk Saw albumsfrom 1996 and 1997). Sleepwulf's 2020 debut album is a bonfire of vintage '70s proto doom sounds that recently set fire to the underground rock scene, managing to gain a #3 spot on the cuvited Doom Charts. Inspired heavily from the work of renowned occultist John Dee, this album attempts to rekindle his vision of a united cosmos. From the stars to atoms and back again, every aspect of the album is rooted in these core principles. These themes also seep into the back cover artwork which was cut from a single piece of paper, with each image representing a song on the album. To keep the authentic retro vibe, the album was self-recorded live on tape in their practice room. "It was a journey to capture the sound we were hearing when we jammed together but after a lot of trial and error, we got there in the end". The cover art was drawn in the late '70s by the singer's father and left undiscovered in a cupboard for 40 years until shortly before the album was finished. This is an album of cycles and connection, which endeavors to bring the sounds of old into the burning sun once again. Limited to 150 copies on clear with pink and black splatter vinyl.

Los Angeles Free Music Society (LAFMS) formed in the mid-1970s as a loose-knit experimental music collective and multimedia publishing vehicle. Founded by teenage Le Forte Four members Chip Chapman, Joe Potts and Rick Potts and soon joined by Tom Recchion of Doo-Dooettes, LAFMS incorporated free improvisation, modular synthesizers, tape music, sampling, musique concrète, homemade instruments, noise, mail art and avant-rock in permissive and anarchic sessions at the Raymond Building and Poo-Bah Record Shop in old Pasadena. Inspired by The Residents, LAFMS self-released records and periodicals, organized performances and connected with fellow outsiders via post in the years before punk. Their uninhibited, egalitarian ideal of music-making and DIY distribution would influence generations of underground artists. Poo-Bah Records, with its import bins and backroom jam space, attracted the pseudonymous artists forming the initial incarnation of long-running collective Smegma. Early members Ju Suk Reet Meate, Dennis Duck, Cheez-it Ritz, Big Dirty, Amazon Bambi and Dr. Id contributed to various LAFMS compilations and combinations before several core members relocated to Portland, Oregon in 1975, where they recorded their debut album 'Glamour Girl 1941.' Originally released on the LAFMS label in 1979, the LP combines rock instrumentation with tape, synthesizer, horns and voice in a tempestuous cauldron of anti-academy improv and alien noise. Beyond its roots in LAFMS, Smegma would help shape the early Portland punk scene in the late '70s alongside Wipers and Neo Boys. In more recent years, they have collaborated with Merzbow and Wolf Eyes. This first-time vinyl reissue is limited to 500 numbered copies. Comes with insert.

Hard, groovy, soft and fuzzy sound that brings you back to the early '70s. The songs were recorded in Don Pierre Studios in Gothenburg produced by the legendary Don Alsterberg (Graveyard etc). The master tapes were forgotten but are now found and released on Heavy Psych Sounds Records. The recording is 100% analogue and recorded and mixed on tape. The songs get their magic from a beautiful mix of groove, melodies, fuzzy hard rock and dreamful psych prog rock influences. Limited to 100 copies on striped (gold, clear, blue) vinyl.

'Nemesis Lately' is the second full-length album released by Somnus Throne. This LP is very much a continuation of their first album (Burning World Records 2020), but with much more attention to detail, a further exploration of the depths of each niche within 'doom,' and a greater variety of sounds. Think just as much heaviness as the first album with less drone and more action. 'Nemesis Lately' goes everywhere across the landscape of doom, stoner, heavy psych, and grunge from a welcoming kick in the teeth by a Motörhead-esque first track, through shades of Acid King, Iggy Pop and The Stooges, Black Angels, The Melvins, Dead Meadow, High On Fire, The Sword, Electric Wizard, Dopelord, Black Pyramid all the way to a concluding track that strives at echoes of Led Zeppelin's acoustic prowess. It goes without saying that the entire album, and the entire Somnus Throne catalogue in total, is never more than one decapitated bat away from Black Sabbath worship. In sum-total, this album is truly a smorgasbord of all things fuzzy, doomy, smokey, sleepy, and trippy while also managing to grasp the essence of each sound -- perfect for anyone ready to doom, space, fuzz, head bang, tune in, turn up, and trip out for the next 40+ minutes. At that time the band members had some troubles during recording, so after the recording sessions they broke up. These tracks were sleeping in the vault for more then fifteen years. The music is a mixture of psychedelic groove, rock, funk, and doom metal. For fans of Cactus, Grand Funk Railroad, Mountain, Sir Lord Baltimore, Captain Beyond, The Meters, Graham Central Station and Funkadelic. On the album you can find four original songs plus two cover tracks: 'Earthquake' from Graham Central Station and 'Stay Away' from The Meters.

They were influenced by famous '70s heavy rock bands like Cactus, Grand Funk Railroad, Groundhogs, Savoy Brown etc. Soon guitarist Arisa and drummer Keisuke Fukawa joined the band. In 2003, they released their self titled debut album on Japanese heavy rock label Leafhound Records. All instrumental bluesy heavy rock and improvised double guitar, they got a tons of good response from all over the world. They also played some shows as support for some foreign band's Japan appearances like Electric Wizard, Bluebird (Amen's side project), Acid King etc. Limited to 150 copies on clear orange with red splatter vinyl.

'Buried Memories' is a collaborative post metal colossus and the second part of the journey that started with 'Continuum' in 2018. This unique release has been mixed by industrial metal icon Justin K. Broadrick and ambient gloom metal maestro James Plotkin. 'Buried Memories' contains two 10 minute slabs of eclectic ambient progressive rock and a series of interpretative remixes of the theme tracks by both Broadrick and Plotkin. Justin Broadrick collaborates with the band on side A through the progressive riff saga of 'Hitmen' which he has mixed and also provided two remixes in his guise as Jesu and another as the eponymous JK Flesh. These three staggering pieces of music elapse over 27 minutes of pure instrumental voyage in a way that only Sons Of Alpha Centauri and Justin Broadrick could deliver! James Plotkin and SOAC collaborate through several tracks including 'Warhero', a sprawling 10 minute odyssey and a masterful remix of 'SS Montgomery', the single from the band's landmark instrumental debut album.After 'entering the Continuum' the listener must now 'bury their memories'.
