This is an official re-release on vinyl under licensed courtesy of BMG Rights Management, UK, remastered from an original master copy out of the vaults of BMG. The album was originally released in 1969 on Pye records. Man are a rock band from Wales whose style is a mixture of American West Coast psychedelia, progressive rock, and blues. As most of you know Man have an enormous back catalogue with a big list of albums that proved that they are one of the greatest bands to emerge from Wales and the UK. Still active today after countless line-up changes they are still part of the psychedelic, progressive jam rock scene. Let's go back to September 1969 when '2 Ozs Of Plastic...' was released on Pye Records (home of The Kinks). The band's second album is a vast improvement from their debut album 'Revelation'. Still heavily influenced by their west coast psych peers, the performances have tightened and great experimental ideas were flowing. The LP starts with the magnificent 'Prelude/The Storm', which lasts for over 12 minutes. A really unusual piece to kick off an album with, but it works. It's so full of atmosphere from all musicians. Crashing cymbals, a wall of noise from the Hammond and unusual sounds from Deke Leonard on guitar, making convincing seagull noises. The whole track emulates a storm perfectly as the title would suggest. Things continue to build towards a seemingly limitless crescendo before easing off to an altogether more relaxing, almost ambient phase. As we move into 'It Is As It Must Be' (originally to be titled 'Shit On The World' till the record company took fright), we begin to uncover what would become the essence of the band. Here we have a heavy, bluesy guitar driven riff laden number with the first vocals of the album. Apart from that brief vocal excursion, the track is primarily an elongated jam featuring lead guitar and harmonica. Other highlights include 'Spunk Box' (known as 'Spunk Rock' to the band and fans). Mcchurch Soundroom : Delusion

McChurch Soundroom was founded in 1970 in Switzerland and was able to get a record deal with the Pilz label shortly after. Musically the influences range from bands like U.F.O, Black Sabbath and Jethro Tull. In 1971 the first and only album of the formation, 'Delusion', was released. Remastered reissue on 180 gram vinyl.

Mighty Baby : Glastonbury fayre festival 1971

Obscure British prog-rock band Mighty Baby evolved from a Mod group called The Action, but moved heavily into experimental psychedelia in 1969, when they cut an incredible debut for the Head label. 'Glastonbury Fayre Festival 1971' captures the legendary group in live action, 'A Blanket In My Muesli' being a free-form jam that remains their best-loved effort; 'India' is a similarly hefty instrumental mega-jam with lilting flute amidst the bluesy guitar work, and there are awesome renditions of 'Virgin Spring,' 'Devil's Whisper' and 'Lazy Days.' If you like your prog thoughtful, complex, and multi-layered, this one's for you!

Edition of 200 copies on black vinyl. 'Tre Ut Av Tiden' is very melodic and harmonic 24-carat symphonic rock. The sound is dominated by Hammond and Mellotron, often bringing early BARCLAY JAMES & HARVEST to mind. But the emotional Norwegian vocals and the layers of keyboards also evoke the work of fellow Scandinavians HOST and Arabs In Aspic. This is their previously unreleased second album, recorded during the sameperiod as their debut 'Brennende Drommer'.

Modulo 1000 is one of Brazil's famous progressive-psych rock bands of the early 1970s. Their only album (from 1972) became legendary in the collectors scene as one of the best South American records of all times besides Laghonia, Emiliano Zapata, Traffic Sound or Opus Alfa. As Luiz Simas (organ) remembers: "The music of Modulo 1000 had its own appeal to an audience that wanted a heavy, raw, experimental, psychedelic sound. Our kind of music did not make it to the radio stations. It was too wild. The distribution of the record was done in a very limited way. The record label directors, which probably didn't understand or even didn't like our music, did zero promotion for it." This version comes on 180gr vinyl, in handmade extra-heavy triple-gatefold sleeve with the outrageous original cover artwork, maybe the best album cover ever! Highly recommended because of its individual and intense sound and extraordinary packaging - a true highlight!

The diverse and brilliant 2004 album by guitar virtuoso Steve Morse, reissued on GOLD COLOURED VINYL. Best known as the founder of the Dixie Dregs and as the lead guitarist of Deep Purple since 1994, Morse has also enjoyed a successful solo career and was briefly a member of the group Kansas in the mid-1980s. More recently Morse became a member of the supergroup Flying Colors.

'Ao Vivo' is an excellent progressive rock record, featuring the line-up of original member Sergio Dias, Paulo de Castro, Rui Motta and Luciano Alves.

Mythos : Mythos

Mythos was formed in 1969 on the initiative of Stephan Kaske (flute, keyboards, vocals, guitar), who found two comrades-in-arms in Harald Weisse (bass) and Thomas Hildebrand (drums). Various performances impressed label boss and talent scout Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser so much that the band was able to release their debut album on the Ohr label in 1972. This album has been re-recorded and remastered from the original analog tapes.

In 1975 the second album of the Berlin based electronic group Mythos was released. Mastermind Stephan Kaske and his band present the typical sound cascades and sequences of the Berlin school.

The wonderful 1973 album by Ralf Nowy, a German musician rooted in jazz and the country's rich '60s exploitation scene, makes its welcome return to vinyl. 'Lucifer's Dream', originally issued on Global in 1973, offers an interesting mixture of instrumental sounds built with elements of psych-pop, jazz, progressive rock, ethnic music and funk. In addition to Ralf Nowy (flutes, alto saxophone, oboe), Paul Vincent (guitars) and Keith Forsey (drums), there also are contributions from Al Gromer (Amon Düül, Popol Vuh), Liz van Nienhoff on sitar, and many others. This remastered reissue is presented in a gatefold sleeve with reproduced artwork and an informative insert. Edition of 500 copies!

Presented in a gatefold cover, this is the limited black vinyl version of Swedish retro/heavy rock quintet Oblivious' second album 'Creating Meaning'. This title was prviously released on CD by Transubstans Records in 2013. 'Creating Meaning' contains classic guitar driven retro rock with stunning vocals, sometimes straight forward boogie blues, but also with haunted and melancholic moments. Enjoy the strong and authentic flashes of the British heavy '70s blues hardrock! Somehow this 8-track album reminds of Steamhammer's 'Mountains' with more screaming and punchy guitar-work, but it also captures song structures in the vein of Led Zeppelin, UFO and Black Sabbath or contemporary likeminded groups such as Graveyard, Dozer or Clutch. From the first note till the very last tone, this is a very impressive album, which takes you back in time and space!
