Wyrm was the primary project of Allan Zane (2000-2011). The project was disbanded in 2011, but is now in the "exhumation" process. Using whatever technology was at hand at any given moment, Wyrm constructed aural amalgamations of genres now often referred to as "dark ambient" and experimental "electronica." Expressed through music, Wyrm's fascination was with the shadow aspects of human existence - yet constituted virtue, consciousness-expansion, and illumination. Allan Zane/Wyrm has worked with such luminaries as the late Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (Psychic TV), Robin Storey (Rapoon, :Zoviet France:), Richard Rupenus (The New Blockaders, Nihilist Assault Group, Mixed Band Philanthropist, Bladder Flask, etc.), GX Jupitter-Larsen (The Haters), Mark Davis (Omenya), PBK, Nigel Ayers (The Pump, Nocturnal Emissions), Kenji Siratori and a host of others. 'Wolfish Outlaws & Other Heathens' is a collection of rare and unreleased recordings from 2000-2011. Presented in lavish packaging complete with booklet, this CD collection offers an opportunity to showcase music that otherwise might never see the light of day. Xiphos is a side project of musicians well known from martial industrial band H.E.R.R. that now delivers their first album 'The Rise And Fall Of Athens,' a song-cycle based on the Greek historian and philosopher Plutarch. This superb album was recorded with Yellow Magic Orchestra at a time when she was part of the group's touring line-up between 1979 and 1980. The album is pure Akiko Yano featuring her superb singing and piano playing, enhanced by touches of YMO's synth-pop sound (check her cult version of YMO's classic 'Tong-Poo'). Ye Ascoyne d'Ascoynes were four Medway wannabes/would-bes who fired their own brand of garage/punk/pop across the land.Starting in late 1988, The Dentists' Bob Collins and ex-Dentist Ian Greensmith gathered in Medway's legendary 'The Hole' to play some '60s garage punk covers, also roping in Mark Aitken and Kevin Younger to form a firm line-up. After a year of blasting faves from the 'Pebbles' compilations, they decided not only to add in a few 'garaged up' covers of other lost classics, but also delving into writing their very own songs that combined their '60s garage roots with later influences from the likes of Buzzcocks and Pavement. Early 1990, they recorded a demo at Red Studios of six original songs, and a cover. Later that year, Kevin stepped down from the group.Come 1992, The Ascoynes went back into the studio as a trio to record their one and only single 'Just The Biggest Thing,' with Billy Childish as producer, subsequently releasing it on Billy's Hangman Records label. Early 1993, they went back to Red Studios to record more demos. This album is a result of those two demo recordings. 'Supersonic Shoes' provides prime unreleased early '90s garage from the best Medway band you've never heard of.

The album was self produced at their studio in the French Alps, and the band's tour de force resides in their ability to develop their personal sound and approach whilst keeping their heart tuned to Derya Yildirim's Anatolian roots. The LP also contains a string of Turkish folk songs, that the band entirely re-arrangedwhilst preserving their original spirit and soul.

In this first part, a group of rebels prepare for violence while the rich and powerful get ready to upload their consciousness to the cloud. Later, murderous AI drones roam the streets, and a high-ranking official gets tried for a genocide. Genre-wise the albums traverse everything from aggressive alt-rock to wistful folk, '60s-inspired prog and dark, '90s-tinged electronica.
