BACK IN PRINT on YELLOW VINYL, here's an LP-reissue of 'Tappeto Volante', the third and final release from Aktuala, the 'open musical collective' from Milan with a steady nucleus and contributions from many guest musicians. As the Third Ear Band has always been inserted in the international prog panorama, the same happened with Aktuala, of which the members were genuine pioneers, able to blend world, ethnic, jazz and avantgarde music. 'Tappeto Volante' was originally released in 1976.

The third solo album of the Italian producer is released eight years after his previous 'At Song Embassy, Papine, Kingston 6,' an album/documentary recorded and filmed in Jamaica back in 2015. This time, the core of the production and song-writing is rooted in the creation of instrumental tracks in the studio; only at a later stage did Baldini look on the outside, establishing the necessary connections and collaborations for the entire album. 'Zur' ('Zhure', party) is absolute cult and one of the most rare Yugoslavian disco funk albums, originally recorded in 1981, reissued on Everland Music for the first time since the original vinyl came out more than 40 years ago. The album was carefully and brilliantly remastered by grammy nominated sound engineer Jessica Thomson. Boban Petrovic is a legend of Belgrade's sophisticated disco funk scene from the late '70s and early '80s. Back in the second half of the '70s Boban started one of the first disco clubs in Belgrade and he was one of the biggest organizers of private house parties. The finest balance between Boban Petrovic's big-hearted party-maker-turned-philanthropist personality and his hustler one was achieved on 'Zur.' On 'Zur,' he is at home, in his safe place, since the parties, the music and the people are the first out of many things he had completely figured out in his life. He is at the top of his game, occasionally bothered by a casual heartbreak, but always feeling himself, coming out playful and fundamentally peaceful, satisfied and ready to transcend himself in order to put the rest of the world in the limelight. In fact, 'Zur' isn't about the party, music, lyrics or its, hands down, beautifully balanced sonics. It's about Boban and the funk he lived thoroughly. The funk before, but the funk he lived after this album even more so. Threshold Houseboys Choir : Amulet (3lp)

The music released as 'Amulet' (or 'The Amulet Edition') is Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson's semi-secret testament. Originally available in exceedingly limited quantities at live shows and via direct mail-order in 2008 as a hand-assembled 4 mini-CDR set housed in a circular Thai Amulet case and never properly distributed, the material finally receives the wider re-release on vinyl and CD it so richly deserves. Only the second and sadly already the final release in his post-Coil solo guise as The Threshold Houseboys Choir, 'Amulet' sees Christopherson in a more playful mood than ever, don't be fooled by reviews calling this suite of songs "incomplete" or "working stage," these are rough little diamonds, often imbued with a bittersweet melancholy joy, unsurprisingly reminiscent of some of the final Coil offerings, but additionally steeped in exotica, inspired by his new East Asian home and the ghostly voices of his digitally generated choir ("a vocalist that wouldn't crash," as he would say). At times these tracks sound like a warmer, less analytically complex counterpart to the work he created simultaneously with CoH's Ivan Pavlov in the celebrated Soisong project. Bonus tracks feature rare earlier THBC compilation tracks and a few previously unreleased exclusive sketches. Let's be perfectly clear though, 'Amulet' is not some half-finished cutting-room floor left-overs, it's a genuine but very little heard fully fledged album released by Christopherson with some of the tracks performed live on his last ever tour, the unforgettable intimate Evenings with Uncle Sleaz. Includes a poster of Peter Christopherson in his infamous Cruella Deville coat. The album has been respectfully and expertly remastered by grammy-nominated Jessica Thompson. Artwork by Oleg Galay overseen and with additional guidance from "our man in Thailand" Peter Jenx.

Wegmüller, Walter : Tarot (2lp/box)

Deluxe box with a 2LP on 180 gram black vinyl in black polylined innersleeves. Includes all assets of the original boxset: with cards of the participating artists, explanatory text and the tarot cards, which are treated musically in the album. Walter Wegmüller (1937-2020) was a Swiss-Jenish artist who gained widespread international attention, especially from 1974 onwards, with the publication of his 'Zigeuner Tarot.' In 1973 he released the album 'Tarot' with an all-star band featuring Klaus Schulze, Manuel Göttsching, Harald Grosskopf, Dieter Dierks, Hartmut Enke, Jürgen Dollase and Walter Westrupp. It remained Walter Wegmüller's only foray into the world of music. The album was last released on vinyl in 1976, and on CD in 2000. This version is the first remastered version ever. Particularly sought after by collectors is a deluxe box which, in addition to 2 vinyl discs, contains various cards by the artists as well as explanatory texts on the Tarot reference and reprints of the Tarot cards by Walter Wegmüller.
