Originally released as a cassette in 1990 (with Shock City) and on CD in 2002, the original tapes have been radically remixed by the band, then digitally mastered to bring out the extreme sound of the UK's premiere industrial unit. Do not expect simple noise - this album contains extreme electronics, mixed with dark ambient rumblings, the sound of armoured helicopters and military transmissions. It was originally issued as a comment on the Gulf War, then raging in the early 1990s.

Imagine yourself in a distant cabin, surrounded by cold wilderness. Power lines are splitting the landscapes like electronic highways, loudly buzzing and crackling in the air. Soon blizzard is roaming outside, freezing winds hammering the window shields and clattering the loose roofing. Cold trying to push it's way through narrow openings of the wall into the warmth of the cabin. Snow storm is blocking the view from the window, starting to slowly resemble static noise from the analogue TV. Kettle is whistling for boiling water but the sound begins shifting to unusual frequencies. Without open sky and fixed stars to locate, it feels like the universe is collapsing inside a cabin. Isolation. Slowly everything natural is beginning to seem unnatural. Organic sounds are twisting, voices mangling out of shape, textures frying, nothing seems to be what it is. Electromagnetic interference hum from the radio transmitter is the only grounding factor to reality. Everything is hidden in details.

Junkyard Shaman takes us on another trip through the nether regions of human consciousness. Combining elements and influences of the experimental and avant garde, jazz, ambient and noise, this haunted dreamscape of an album conjures a night-time atmosphere of wandering sleep-deprived through a slumbering city's rain-soaked streets. As the dawn approaches, humanitys inevitable trudge through another day slowly begins and a wash of light and noise disintegrate the fog along with the wanderer's complete existence. Containing varied musical instrumentation and other sound sources, the album still has a cohesive and instantly captivating soundscape, letting the listeners themselves dissociate and disintegrate into the warbling blanket of sound.
