Agitation Free was formed in 1967 through the merger of two Berlin rock groups. In retrospect, it became clear that the experimental circle Agitation Free was one of the most important bands of the "Berlin School" and also igniting careers for some German musicians. Christopher Franke helped the band Tangerine Dream to worldwide recognition. Michael Hoenig worked with Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream before he became known as a film composer. Axel Genrich switched to Guru Guru, Burghard Rausch became a founding member of Bel Ami. Gustl Lütjens toured with Shirley Bassey and Nena and later founded the band Living Mirrors. Lutz "Lüül" Ulbrich joined Ashra, and worked with ex-Velvet Underground singer Nico. This live CD comes with bonus DVD.

Epitaph : History box 2 - the polydor years (2cd)
The story of Epitaph begins in the winter of 1969/70 in Dortmund club "Fantasio", where British musician Cliff Jackson (vocals, guitar), James McGillivray (drums) and bassist Bernd Kolbe practiced and worked on their program, whilst performing weekly at Fantasio amongst the likes of Black Sabbath, Rory Gallagher, Yes and Argent. Producer Günter Boas saw the potential of this band and it didn't take long for Epitaph to sign their first contract with Polydor, and recorded their self-titled album which was released in autumn 1971. This was followed by 'Stop Look And Listen' in April 1972.

When Mother's Finest performed at Rockpalast in the Grugahalle Essen in March 1978, they were totally unknown in Europe. On that day, however, they achieved a cult status - which they still hold today. In 1984 the band split up, and Joyce Kennedy had some success as a solo artist. Twenty-five years after a reunited Mother's Finest - almost with the original line-up - were guests again at Rockpalast. In July 2003 they played their classics and new songs at Burg Satzvey. Both concerts - from 1978 and 2003 - can be seen in full length on the DVD.

Fifteen years later, on June 23, 1996, NBZ returned to the Rockpalast stage. The evening's line-up included the southern rockers Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Band and the Muddy Waters Tribute Bluesband.

The work on the 'The Dark Side Of The Moog' series initially began without any specific intention and was not planned as a series. Pete Namlook's influence on Klaus Schulze's entire work in the mid-'90s cannot be underestimated, because he loved exactly those elements that were less present in his own music. Namlook encouraged Schulze to return to the analog charm of his earlier albums and supported him in midifying his analog instruments, which ultimately led to the epochal Schulze album 'Are You Sequenced?' released in 1996. For Pete Namlook, Schulze's curiosity and working at eye level were one of the driving forces. More or less unplanned, 'The Dark Side Of The Moog' grew into an impressive eleven-part series between 1994 and 2008, which was only ended by the death of Pete Namlook on November 8, 2012. Even in retrospect, it is incredibly exciting to experience the rapprochement, the exchange, the growing together - but also the fruitful friction.

Klaus recorded the play in 1993 and gave it to the Guttemplers - an institution that helps alcoholics - for free.

Although Schulze's music can hardly be described as "minimalist," much of the mantra-like hypnosis that underpins his music comes close to the literal meaning of this minimal style.

SFF (Eduard Schicke, Gerd Führs and Heinz Fröhling) had an orchestral sound that was overwhelming and mesmerizing. With Dieter Dierks (Scorpions, Wallenstein, Nektar) the band found the right producer for their first album 'Symphonic Pictures', which was released in 1976. The trio's popularity grew primarily through their live concerts. In 1977 and 1978, SFF recorded two more records with Dieter Dierks: 'Sunburst' and 'Ticket To Everywhere'. After the recording of the last album, the trio broke up.
