'BARBARIC, CRUDE & PRIMITIVE 1975-1979' - Greg Prevost played in different bands before forming the Chesterfield Kings. Only one of them, the Distorted Levels, released a 7" in 1978. But there were many more mystery bands where Greg played with, such as Mr. Electro and The Void, The Cutdowns and Mr. Electro and the Psychedelic Burnouts. They all recorded profusely, but most master tapes eventually got lost for some reason, but some of them have been retreived. Here is a selection of the material: all demos, all previously unreleased, plus the Distorted Levels 7", as well as six tracks recorded by early Chesterfield Kings line-ups from 1978-79.
