Coilguns is a full DIY band and has released four EPs and three full length albums. All that has been released through their guitarist Jona Nido's own label, Hummus Records. The band is known for taking the unusual path. These 12 songs are raw as noise and messy as punk though carefully organised in a daring and flawless sequence. Excessively low-tuned guitars, gnarly synths and excentric vocals are carried away by Luc Hess obsessive drumbeats.

Formed in 2011, Coilguns has since released five EPs and three studio albums. Their blend of vindictive punk-hardcore with blackened noise rock has a distinctive sound. They have built a reputation through their live performances led by the unpredictable and frantic stage presence of the band's frontman Louis Jucker. This live album was captured in 2021, when they were the closing band at the Soulcrusher Festival in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. This 2LP set has an etched D-side.
