BBQ is not a group, it's the best one-man band since Wilbert Harrison (and no, I'm not forgetting the LEGENDARY STARDUST COWBOY ...), doing a raw, soul-shaking style of pre-frat '50s/early '60s party music. We've all heard plenty of '60s garage bands by now, and the "frat bands" that preceded them. This is what teen parties sounded like circa 1959-63; a rockin' style many have not yet discovered--but you will. You're gonna dig it the most.
