For their second 'Twinscapes' collaboration, bassists Colin Edwin (of Porcupine Tree and Metallic Taste Of Blood) and Lorenzo Feliciati (Naked Truth, Berserk!) address their respective '80s pop roots in the context of the same ambient soundscapes, freewheeling improvisations and prog rock flurries that graced their self-titled 2014 release. Picture Soft Cell jamming with King Crimson, Ultravox with ELP, Depeche Mode with Giant Giant, and you've got an idea of what's happening.

Japanese noise legend Merzbow (Masami Akita), fellow countryman Keiji Haino and Hungarian drummer Balazs Pandi teamed up in the studio and then let wonderful telepathy take over. 'Become The Discovered, Not The Discoverer' is fueled by Merzbow's cathartic sheets of electronic sound and guitar, Haino's slashing guitar, bass and vocal work, and Pandi's pummeling intensity on the kit. Under his own name, Rossano Baldini has enjoyed a career as a jazz pianist and keyboardist and as a renowned composer for film and television. Under the Humanbeing moniker he re-emerges as an electronic composer/performer.
