Reality, originating from summer '70 was the first Caribbean Latin-funk group in Amsterdam and even the whole of the Netherlands. With their self-titled debut album, Franky Douglas (guitar), Tony Sherman (vocals), Roël Burnet (percussion), Glenn Gaddum (organ), Leslie Vos (vocals) and Eddy Veldman (drums) presented a highlight in the burgeoning Dutch Latin, funk and soul scene. Just like the second album 'Tony And Reality', the LP has become a coveted collector's item that people paid large sums of money for. Pseudonym Records is very proud to present the first legitimate reissues of Reality, remastered from the original tapes, and with the full cooperation of the band. From now on, Reality's music is available to everyone. The CD contains the albums 'Reality' (1972), with the sensitive and still up-to-date 'War', and 'Tony And Reality' (1973), plus Tony Sherman's top 40-hit 'Tonight'. This release contains the original artwork and a detailed liner notes by guitarist/composer Franky Douglas. Reality later continued under the name Solat.

With the 'Sonic Waters' project initiated in 1978, Michel's aim was to situate field of electronic music within a liberating and futuristic experience, outside the concert halls and in sync with the development of new instruments - in particular the Synclavier digital synthesizer. Michel developed the aesthetic and technical elements that would contribute to the conception of 'Underwater Music'. Numerous performances would follow in natural sites or in large public pools such as those of Sydney, Paris or Venice during the 2006 Biennale.

Regenorchester Xii : Relics

Founded 1995 in London by Austrian trumpeter and band leader Franz Hautzinger as an ensemble for experimental music, the project developed over the years into a mixed style fusion band. Various musicians like Fennesz, Tony Buck, Otomo Yoshihide, Burkhard Stangl, Oren Ambarchi, Martin Siewert and others were part of this long-time and often changing project.Strongly influenced by the electronic music genres of the 1990s, the band developed its specific "Regenorchester Sound" - vigorously pulsating, continuously evolving sound structures with electric guitar power and strong brass melodies based on pushing rhythms. 'Relics' was recorded live at the Klangspuren Schwaz festival in 2019. By way of definition, Retsepti represent what should be considered the most relevant contemporary music group to have existed in the Republic Of Georgia during the 1980s. If one is to summarize the history of underground music in ex-socialist countries, they will find very few which rank alongside the maturity of composition and stylistic character which Lado Burdulis group accomplished during their short and troubled existence. Retsepti was formed in 1987 by vocalist/leader Lado Burduli. Growing up amidst a period which witnessed the Soviet Unions first official rock festival (Tbilisi 1980), the group distanced themselves from the vocal instrumental ensemble and youth music of the Soviet Estrada. "Our attitude of the band was no interviews and no relationships with anybody - starting from the other bands existing during that period, to the journalists, and generally whomever.no relationship with anybody at all!". Retsepti means recipe, or prescription.We chose the name because at that time, the Soviet society needed some treatment, and we were the "retsepti" for this treatment which would eventually cure them (the people of this society)." - Lado. Existing throughout the fall of the Soviet Union and a five year period of civil war within Georgia, Burdulis lyrics bare a consistently similar theme; the struggle to sustain compassion and love within an intolerant society. Retsepti's music is extraordinary - original, well arranged dark punk and wave sung in Georgian with a raw voice which has melody under its surface. The Caucasian language group is delightfully unique sounding in its percussive and even abrasive tones. This documentation offers the listener a rare chance to experience the groups entire recorded repertoire; from the odd sized Russian " master tape discovered in an empty building two years after the civil war, to the sole remaining copies of songs on cassette tapes; all songs suffered substantial deterioration of sound, requiring meticulous audio restoration.
