Reality (nl) : Reality/tony and reality

Reality, originating from summer '70 was the first Caribbean Latin-funk group in Amsterdam and even the whole of the Netherlands. With their self-titled debut album, Franky Douglas (guitar), Tony Sherman (vocals), Roël Burnet (percussion), Glenn Gaddum (organ), Leslie Vos (vocals) and Eddy Veldman (drums) presented a highlight in the burgeoning Dutch Latin, funk and soul scene. Just like the second album 'Tony And Reality', the LP has become a coveted collector's item that people paid large sums of money for. Pseudonym Records is very proud to present the first legitimate reissues of Reality, remastered from the original tapes, and with the full cooperation of the band. From now on, Reality's music is available to everyone. The CD contains the albums 'Reality' (1972), with the sensitive and still up-to-date 'War', and 'Tony And Reality' (1973), plus Tony Sherman's top 40-hit 'Tonight'. This release contains the original artwork and a detailed liner notes by guitarist/composer Franky Douglas. Reality later continued under the name Solat.

Regard Extrême is a name that should be familiar to anyone into neofolk, neoclassical and martial industrial. Since its inception in 1990, Regard Extrême has collaborated with luminaries Les Joyaux De La Princesse and was featured in both the book and on the compilation album 'Looking For Europe.' One can safely say Regard Extrême and its sole member Fabien Nicault have left their mark on orchestral post-industrial music. If for some reason you aren't familiar with Regard Extrême, then 'Legacy' is just the album for you: consisting of tracks originally featured on various releases from 1995 to 2022, this is a perfect single-disc introduction to the French project. And if you're an old fan, then 'Legacy' is also for you: the tracks have been re-composed and re-orchestrated with great attention to quality and loyalty to the original spirit. The end result: classic Regard Extrême tracks reimagined and refurbished for the year 2022. Featuring also two new, previously unreleased tracks, this is both a perfect starting point to explore Regard Extrême's discography, and a welcome addition to an existing collection. 'Legacy' updates old classics with a powerful, clear but still powerful sound, full of heroic bombast, martial drama and evocative orchestrations. Pigeonholing 'Legacy' is impossible: it is equal amounts neoclassical and martial industrial, epic and brooding, bellicose and dramatic. With its nuanced and detailed compositions drawing equally from classical music and the post-industrial underground, 'Legacy' exemplifies clearly the skill and professionalism through which Regard Extrême have made themselves into a cult name. Old cars. Trees are bereft of leaves. The German titles allude to autumnal and wintery themes. Death and decay. Where will the journey take you?

Regenorchester Xii : Relics

Founded 1995 in London by Austrian trumpeter and band leader Franz Hautzinger as an ensemble for experimental music, the project developed over the years into a mixed style fusion band. Various musicians like Fennesz, Tony Buck, Otomo Yoshihide, Burkhard Stangl, Oren Ambarchi, Martin Siewert and others were part of this long-time and often changing project.Strongly influenced by the electronic music genres of the 1990s, the band developed its specific "Regenorchester Sound" - vigorously pulsating, continuously evolving sound structures with electric guitar power and strong brass melodies based on pushing rhythms. 'Relics' was recorded live at the Klangspuren Schwaz festival in 2019. Remont Pomp (repair of pumps) is a band playing ethnic, avant-garde and improvised music, which was founded in 2003 at the Polish Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities Kolo in Gdansk, created by the association's charges. The band's inspiration is ethnic music with an emphasis on the richness of African music. Remont Pomp also discovers the space of experimental music by playing unusual instruments and objects not usually associated with music.

Renbourn, John -group- : A maid in bremen - live at roemer

In 1967 guitarist and songwriter John Renbourn founded the British folk rock band Pentangle together with Bert Jansch. Like Jansch, Renbourn was also regarded as an outstanding representative of the British 'folk baroque' and fingerpicking playing technique. This CD contains recordings by Radio Bremen from the year 1978 where the band performed at the Bremer Römer.
