Zool. is the alter ego of Gerry Vergult, also known as Fred Angst, member of the renowned Belgian '80s postpunk band Aroma Di Amore. On his 5th album, Zool. re-invents the ambient shapes and forms of his early work. Sonic textures and dubconscious low frequencies are still the canvas for Zool.'s minimalistic and subtle guitar and piano tapestries. But this time beats are humbly restricted to subliminal rhythmic patterns that add bounding to the melancholy. Comes on 180 gram vinyl.
