Here's the first ever reissue of a rare private press LP from1979, recorded by guitarist Angelo Noce Santoro, formerly ofDutch (early '70s) psych/prog legends Cosmic Dealer. The musiccan be described as a Latin tinged funk-psych-prog trip,featuring groovy jazz flutes, superb acoustic/electric guitars,a funky rhythm section, exotic percussion and cool Oriental andBrazilian vibes. Angelo's unique guitar playing, whichincorporates surf, psychedelic, jazz and Oriental influences,has received praising from connoisseurs of obscure instrumentalsounds including Jello Biafra, who got in touch with Angeloafter discovering one of his solo albums in a second-hand shopin the '80s. 'For You' was Angelo's first solo effort. He wasjoined by ace flute player Steven Bishop, drummer Herman Mullerand Lodewijk Hulsman on acoustic guitar. Most of the trackswere written by Angelo way before 1979, with some of them evendating back to the days of Cosmic Dealer. In the '80s Angelo would be part of the notable group Palmeira. This CD-version comes with two previously unreleased '79 bonus tracks; a second part of 'Raindance' and a cover of Joao Gilberto's 'Undiú'.
